Price Adjustment & Fuel Levy

Dear Valued Customer,

We value your continued partnership with The Packaging Place and appreciate the trust you place in us as your packaging supplier. After careful consideration, we are writing to advise you of a pricing adjustment and the introduction of a fuel levy, both effective from 6th April.

1.  Price Adjustment

Due to sustained increases in raw material costs, labour, and manufacturing inputs, we will be implementing a price increase of up to 6% across some of our product range. This adjustment reflects the rising costs that have increased over recent months which we can no longer absorb.

Ranges that will be affected by the Price Increase:

• Martellato range including Dessert Cups, Pastry Bags & Canape range +5%
• The Colpac range +4% *excluding Heat Seal Products
• Cupcake, Bakery Boxes, Chocolate Boxes & Macaron Boxes +5%
• Pizza Boxes & Corrugated Cake Boxes +6%

In this time of change and increasing costs we will endeavour to mitigate any further increases across our product ranges where possible.

2.  Fuel Levy

In addition to the above, we will be introducing a Fuel Levy of 12% applied to all freighted items only; to cover the increased costs we are experiencing for Fuel levies from our transport partners. This will be charged as a percentage of the freight cost not the total order value. This will be included in your Freight line on your invoice – not as a separate item. We envisage this to be a temporary measure which we will continue to review as changes happen in this area and will respond as required.

We do not take these decisions lightly. The Packaging Place remains committed to local manufacturing in Brisbane, delivering quality products and the responsive service you depend on. Where possible, we will continue to absorb costs and look for efficiencies rather than passing them on.
