Change of Mind Returns

If you have ordered the wrong product or the product does not suit your needs we are happy for you to return it to us provided it has not been opened. You will need to arrange for the product(s) to be returned at your cost to our main warehouse located at U5/36 Pritchard Road, Virginia QLD 4014.

Our original delivery charges will not be refunded.

Once the product(s) have been checked to ensure they are correct and undamaged and they will be received back into stock and a refund for the value of the product, less a 15% restocking fee will be issued - this can be held as a credit on our system for you or refunded to the credit card or bank account in which the original order was paid.

In accordance with Australian consumer law The Packaging Place does not accept exchanges or refunds in the following situations:

  • If the seals (outer packaging) are broken on any food packaging e.g. Cake Cartons, dessert cups
  • You were aware of the relevant fault before buying the goods e.g. sale stock
  • You damaged the goods by misusing them e.g. Folded the product incorrectly
  • as a result of any delays by a courier

Faulty product or incorrect product delivered

We take extreme care in ensuring our goods are of the highest quality. However, if for any reason you find that one of our products is faulty, or we have not delivered what you ordered, we will work with you resolve the problem. Returns will be accepted for products purchased online if they are faulty or the products delivered do not match your original order. All claims for faulty or incorrectly delivered items must be received within 5 days from date of delivery.

The Packaging Place may ask you to provide further information or photographs via email to help us assess your situation and to help resolve the issue as fast as possible. You may be asked to return the faulty product(s) to The Packaging Place warehouse to be assessed.

How long will it take to get a refund if approved?

Once your goods have been received by The Packaging Place, please allow up to 5 working days for your refund to be processed. We will offer a credit for future orders or a full product refund to the credit card/ bank account from which you made the original payment. Your receipt of your refund will depend on the period of time it takes your financial institution to finalise the refund.
